About Less Mess Home Organising

The stress-free way to reclaim, maximise and enjoy your space.

Hi, I’m Steph

I started Less Mess in 2011, after friends and family convinced me to share my passion for organising with the wider world! I soon realised I had skills and ideas that not everyone had, or had the time for.

10 years later I’m still helping people find more freedom in their homes, and creating spaces that look, feel and flow better. And I love it. I seem to have the ability to connect with people on an emotional level, which is often a big part of this process. I’ll work closely with you to help through what can be a very personal time, so being friendly, gentle, efficient and completely non-judgmental is a big part of what I do.

I have worked with people in all different situations, so no need to be nervous or embarrassed. Everyone has different reasons for having the things they have, but together we will figure out the best way for you to live with or without it. I tailor the way we work to best suit what you want to achieve.

Everyone has different reasons for having the things they have, but together we will figure out the best way for you to live with or without it. I tailor the way we work to best suit what you want to achieve.

I’m also a Mum of two, so I completely understand how easily a busy life can lead to a home turning into a storage box for life’s excess. ‘Stuff’ can become overwhelming and, sadly, can consume far too much time and energy. Often the hardest part is knowing where to start, but that’s where I come in.

A bit of my previous working life includes being a Lifestyle Manager in London, and an EA and Project Coordinator in Wellington. I also have experience in the real estate industry and have completed a Diploma in Interior Design.

“Steph – you did an amazing job! Thank you SO SO much. It’s embarrassing seeing how badly my cupboards were overflowing and how long overdue it was to sort them.

If it wasn’t for you they would still be a mess. Your guidance and support helped me focus on clearing out what I didn’t need or wasn’t using as frequently, making more space and finding things I had completely forgotten about.

It still feels good opening my cupboard and I have a real sense of satisfaction – plus I got several new outfits from existing pieces. Looking forward to the next session!”
